As we celebrate the birth of our Lord and Savior, we reflect on a year of profound grace and community. It has been a wonderful year of service, though not without its personal challenges. Both Kathleen and I have been recovering from hip replacement surgeries this fall; while the road to recovery was a bit difficult at times, it has been a blessing to continue our mission alongside all of you.
Your generosity has allowed us to be the hands and feet of Christ during this holy season. We are writing to share the impact of your kindness and to offer our deepest thanks.
Nourishing Body and Soul
This year, we were able to significantly expand our outreach to those facing food insecurity. Because of your support, we provided:
Supplemental food supplies throughout the year to help families bridge the gap.
Complete Thanksgiving and Christmas meals, ensuring that families in need could gather around a festive table and celebrate the holidays with dignity and joy.
Restocked for the Winter Cold
As the winter weather arrives, we are relieved to share that our winter survival supplies are fully restocked. For the next two months, our team will be out in the community handing out:
Winter coats and boots to protect our neighbors from the elements.
Handwarmers and essential supplies to provide warmth during the coldest days.
Spreading Christmas Joy
In addition to meeting basic needs, we were overjoyed to supply nearly 50 families with Christmas gifts. Bringing a smile to a child’s face and relief to a parent’s heart is a beautiful way to honor the Nativity, and we could not have done it without your time, energy, and donations.
